Abstract

The fundamental purpose of this project is to improve heat transfer on double pipes by spiraling them around circular pipes. The spiral shape has more surface area when compared to the circular straight pipes, so the heat transfer will be improved. In the present investigation, the heat transfer performance of elliptical cross-sectional spiral pipes and straight slot shaped cross-sectional spiral pipes is compared with different fluid velocities. The experiment is go to do in CFD methodology by using SolidWorks 3D modeling software and analysis in ANSYS fluent software. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
