The projectâs objective consists of designing and analyze a hybrid sandwich layered safety helmet that is made from natural materials like epoxy resin and different types of fibers. The safety helmet is designed using design software and simulated with different types of load tests like static load applying. Tests for stress analysis and deformation are conducted using software such as an ANSYS workbench. In contrast to other helmets on the market, the helmetâs lightweight design and construction do not compromise safety. Because it does not require molding, the helmet is more affordable than other models. Compared to other available conventional products, this helmet's use of fibers results in moisture resistance and fire resilience. The usage of natural fibers of bamboo pulp, glass, and ramie fiber results in the production of a biodegradable helmet that is eco-friendly. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
