In production the process is to remove unnecessary materials and form metal parts. The finishing process of all components must consider accuracy, shortest delivery time, production costs and tool wear. The economy of machine operation plays an important role in market competition. This paper proposes a new method for optimizing multi-mode machining parameters of EN24T lathe based on the analysis of the gray sets of orthogonal arrays. The experiment was carried out on EN24T. Now the task takes into account many characteristics such as surface roughness (Ra), roundness (Ø), and tool wear (T), material removal material (MRR) and turning parameters such as cutting speed and feed rate, optimization and cutting depth. Using gray analysis, you can determine the grey correlation level (GRL). Determine the optimal parameter level according to the gray correlation level value, and then use ANOVA to determine the important parameter contribution. A verification test will be run to verify the test results. The experimental results show that the new technology can effectively improve the response speed of the turning process. In order to achieve these goals, we need to find the best multi-standard solution by analyzing the cutting speed, feed rate, cutting depth and cutting tool coating. Here, we use gray MCDA grey correlation analysis to determine the best optimal parameters. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
