Abstract

Electric discharge machining (EDM) of titanium alloy was carried out using copper electrodes to optimize machining parameters such as current, pulse-on time, and spark gap voltage. Taguchi method and ANOVA were used. Current was found to be the most influential parameter for material removal rate and electrode wear rate. Higher current improved MRR, while lower spark gap voltage reduced wear. © 2022 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
