The goal of this research is to evaluate the heat transfer and turbulent flow friction characteristics in a circular flow in an experimental setting a heat-flux tube with a variety of inserts. The spinning flow caused by the multiple inserts, as well as the turbulence of flow along the tube wall induced by the surface, should both increase heat transmission in the experiment.. At the tube input, Reynolds values ranging from 3000 to 9200 were used in the experiments. In addition, the impact of various inserts is investigated. Helical tape has been shown to improve heat transfer rates by up to 20% at constant pumping power, depending on Re. As the Reynolds number grows, the efficiency of augmentation decreases. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
