Abstract

One of the most important alternatives to traditional techniques for cutting hard materials and intricate shapes without residual stress and tool wear is electrochemical machining (ECM).The automobile, petrochemical, aerospace, textile, medical, and electrical industries all use the ECM extensively. Studies on Material Removal Rate (MRR) are crucial to ECM since it affects how decisions are made during the process. Because there is no touch between the tool and the workpiece, the ECM's importance has expanded along with its capacity to create intricate geometric designs. In this research work, micro-ECM will be carried out on the Brass C35335.It can hold strength and resisting oxidization at extreme heat and it is chemically inert. Micro-ECM will be carried out by changing the electrodes. Copper electrode is selected for micro-ECM process. © 2024 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
