Abstract

This cross-sectional study of 100 patients examined dermoscopic features of melasma. Centrofacial type was most common (51%), followed by malar (44%). Epidermal melasma predominated (59%), with reticuloglobular patterns in 68% of cases. Dermoscopy helps differentiate melasma subtypes and guides treatment decisions, highlighting variations in pigmentation patterns and clinical morphology.
