Abstract

This study examines AI tool usage among Ph.D. scholars at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, including plagiarism detection, LLMs, paraphrasing tools, and AI-enabled research databases. Findings show 91.2% adoption, primarily for literature review and research writing, enhancing precision, proficiency, and creativity. The research highlights both opportunities and challenges of AI in doctoral education and its role in advancing technology-driven knowledge dissemination aligned with sustainable development.
