Abstract

This paper proposes a hysteresis current controller (HCC) for a three-phase Vienna rectifier with Power Factor Correction (PFC) for Wind Energy Conversion Systems using Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generators (PMSG). The controller ensures high power quality, minimal harmonics, and improved thermal performance. Simulation results demonstrate stable performance across varying wind and load conditions with THD around 1.5%, enhancing wind energy conversion and grid integration.
