Abstract

A novel MPPT controller using firefly-optimized Perturb and Observe (P&O) technique is proposed for a single-phase grid-connected PV system. A Relift Luo converter increases PV voltage and reduces ripples, while a PI controller normalizes DC voltage and grid current. A single-phase VSI with LC filter converts DC to AC and suppresses harmonics. MATLAB simulations demonstrate improved PV panel efficiency and stable grid integration.
