The development of high-performance dielectric materials is critical for modern electronics and energy storage applications. This study explores the interface-driven enhancement in the dielectric constant of DyO/CoWO nanocomposites synthesized via the co-precipitation method. Structural, morphological, optical, and dielectric properties of the nanocomposites were systematically investigated using a range of analytical techniques. The results indicate that the interfacial polarization between DyO and CoWO phases significantly improves the dielectric performance. Optical studies reveal band gap modifications and photoluminescence (PL) behavior influenced by the interface, highlighting the multifunctionality of the material. The findings underscore the potential of DyO/CoWO nanocomposites for advanced dielectric and optoelectronic applications. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
