Abstract

This chapter presents an understanding of the role of AI and IoT in healthcare where the integration enhances the following areas of healthcare delivery. With the integration of AI accompanying IoT devices in the healthcare systems such as early intervention, individual treatment, and engagement of patients is promoted. Provided various examples of Cardiac and glucose monitoring and cancer treatment to show how AI- IoT can work together to advance diagnosis, patients' adherence and operations. The chapter also includes such issues as data protection, integration, and ethical issues. This paper presents the evidence that AI- IoT solutions offer greater efficiency than the classical approaches, and the further investigations can contribute to the development of the completely autonomous, predictive health- care systems, oriented on the avoidance of the acute conditions and targeting the optimal health state for every person. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
