We are living in the era of modern computing edge where we can access the information in just one click. Iot is the future of computing world where every device is connected to the Internet and communicate with each other in no time. This paper is the comprehensive overview of Iot with respect to architecture, technologies of iot, application and challenges of Iot. Particularly, this paper first explores the architecture of iot. Then, existing wireless technologies used in iot and application of iot. Then, Several application including Smart home automation, Health Monitoring System, transportation system and Water monitoring system.
