Abstract

This paper presents an automatic classification method for computed tomography (CT) medical images. Hospitals produce huge volumes of CT images, with Computed Tomography (CT) method produces upto 64 slides/scan. A CT scan produces inner body structure’s images including internal organs, blood vessels, bones, tumours etc. In this paper, an automatic classification method for CT medical images based on features extracted using B Spline Wavelet and Moment Invariant and is further classified using Naïve Bayes, CART, C4.5 and K Nearest Neighbor. © 2015 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
