Abstract

The crystals (1-x)Pb(Mg<inf>1/3</inf>Nb<inf>2/3</inf>)O<inf>3</inf> -xPbTiO<inf>3</inf>(represented as (1-x)PMN-xPT)has a prototype phase (underline parent point group is ) space group symmetry. In the range of temperatures 32 oC to 250 oC it has three phase transitions, and . Based on the underline point group, the spontaneous property tables are constructed to identify the existence and changes in different physical properties that are exhibited by the crystal in each of the phase transitions.
