Abstract

Wireless multimedia sensor networks (WMSN) are widely utilized in much research range for transmitting and getting the information, for example, video and so forth. Clustering based methodology is principle concern toward vitality effective transmission in WMSN. The clustering based methodology as well as route choice for system ought to be securable. In this paper, we have proposed Energy effective trust with cluster based multipath routing for maximizing lifetime of wireless multimedia sensor network. For cluster development and main cluster head selection, we have proposed Cluster Chain Weight Metrics approach (CCWM). Vice cluster head (VCH) is chosen by MCH from the non-MCH taking into account lingering vitality. For securable routing, we have proposed trust-based QoS routing protocol. Utilizing this calculation, we gauge the trust degree between hubs from direct trust calculation of direct perception and indirect trust calculation by neighbors' suggestions. The simulation results show that our proposed scheme can prevent attacks from malicious nodes and improve the security performance of the whole network, especially in terms of packet delivery ratio, average end-to-end delay, routing packet overhead. © 2019 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
