Abstract

This paper aims to bring about a comparison between the philosophies of Jiddu Krishnamurti, Ayn Rand, Jacques Derrida and Friedrich Nietzsche. The universal nature of these philosophies and how they measure up against each other will be analyzed. Furthermore, the superiority of Jiddu Krishnamurti’s philosophy over the others (philosophies mentioned above) is also tested in terms of universality and humanistic values. The litmus test for all these theories is whether they can impact every individual in their quest for inner peace. Hence, all the theories are examined and compared for the attainment of peace, fulfillment and joy for every individual as a world citizen, not on the basis of nationality, religion or community. © 2019 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
