Hypothyroidism is an endocrine disease that is caused by the depletion of thyroid hormones in our bodies. There is a high prevalence of hypothyroidism worldwide and in India too. There is a strong link between hypothyroidism and a number of other medical disorders, including diabetes. It has been shown that hypothyroidism is connected with high mortality and impaired quality of life, particularly if there are comorbidities. This review provides a short summary of the comorbidities that are impacted by hypothyroidism. © 2022 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
