Abstract

In this study, Kalingarayan canal is selected for analyzing pollution levels from industrial effluents. Nine groundwater samples were collected during 2014–2016. Water quality was poor at Kolathupalayam and Perumparai stations, with high nitrate, calcium and magnesium levels. Water cannot be used for human consumption without proper treatment.
