Abstract

Ethanolic extract of Sapindus trifoliatus seeds evaluated for anti-inflammatory activity in Wistar rats using carrageenan-induced paw edema, pleurisy, and cotton pellet granuloma models. Extract (150 mg/kg) inhibited paw edema, leukocyte migration, pleural exudate, and granuloma weight, showing significant anti-inflammatory activity (P < 0.001). © 2004 The Haworth Press, Inc. © 2013 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
