Abstract

Ethanolic extract of dried nuts of Semecarpus anacardium (100 mg/kg) evaluated in normal and alloxan-induced diabetic rats. Reduced blood glucose levels in both normal and diabetic rats within 3 h; compared with tolbutamide.
