Abstract

This study analyzed genetic control of immunocompetence in native chickens using humoral response to sheep RBCs and IgG concentrations. Males had slightly higher HA and IgG responses than females. Results indicate negative correlation between production traits and disease resistance. © 2017 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
