Abstract

Study on estimating human height from coronal and sagittal sutures of the skull in 87 male bodies. Coronal suture length significantly correlated with height (r=0.363), sagittal less so (r=0.090). Linear regression equations derived; coronal suture provides more accurate height estimation. Useful in forensic investigations with fragmentary remains. © 2009 Springer-Verlag. © 2009 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
