Abstract
Two-component long-wave-short-wave resonance interaction equation admits Painlevé property. Using truncated Painlevé approach, exponentially localized solutions ("multimode dromions") for short waves S(1) and S(2) generated. Line soliton for long wave L. Energy transfer restricted by mode firewall; intramodal collisions observed. © 2009 IOP Publishing Ltd. © 2009 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
