Abstract

This study assessed the role of Anti-Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide (anti-CCP) antibodies and Rheumatoid Factor (RF) in 60 RA patients. Anti-CCP showed superior detection capability compared to RF and independently predicted radiological damage and disease progression. Anti-CCP antibodies also distinguished erosive from non-erosive RA, proving to be a valuable prognostic marker. © 2012 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
