Abstract

Ethanol and aqueous extracts of Crataeva nurvala stem bark exhibit anti-fertility effects in rats. Partial and complete resorption of implants at 300 and 600 mg/kg, respectively. Estrogenic activity observed; increased uterine weight and vaginal opening/cornification in immature rats. Supports effectiveness in preventing pregnancy. © 2009 Academic Journals. © 2018 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
