Abstract

HPLC method developed for estimation of montelukast sodium in bulk and tablets using C18 column and acetonitrile:sodium acetate (90:10 v/v, pH 6.3). Flow rate 1.5 ml/min, detection at 285 nm, retention time 3.4 min. LOD 1.31 μg/ml, LOQ 3.97 μg/ml. Validated for linearity, precision, accuracy, specificity.
