Abstract
A case report describes fabrication of an inexpensive, flexible, custom tracheostomal prosthesis for a 29-year-old male with chronic tracheostomy. Using the previous tube as a template, a polyurethane tracheal button was created without impression making. The prosthesis showed excellent results, requiring no adhesives and offering improved comfort compared to commercial options.
