Abstract
Sugar industry pressmud mixed with cow dung (1:1) and vermicomposted with Perionyx ceylanensis produced nutrient- and microorganism-rich compost with pH 7.33, EC 2.32 dS/m, N 1.63%, P 2.38%, K 3.13%, organic carbon 29%, C/N 17.89. Microbial populations increased, correlated with vermicomposting duration. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd. © 2010 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
