Abstract

Systematic pattern analysis of FNAC breast aspirates over 4 years in 225 cases showed sensitivity 94.5%, specificity 98%, diagnostic accuracy 97%, PPV 95.8%, NPV 97.4%. FNAC with pattern analysis is highly reliable and reproducible for assessing breast lesions. © 2011 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
