Abstract
Study on proximal femoral dimensions of Indian population using 578 dry femora showed that Western-designed orthopedic implants do not match Indian anatomical measurements. Average neck-shaft angle: 126.55°, neck length: 3.19 cm, neck width: 3.1 cm. Study highlights need for implant modification. © 2017 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
