Abstract

Cytologic grading of breast carcinoma was assessed using Robinson grading (RGS) and Scarff-Bloom-Richardson (SBR) system, compared to histologic grading. Strong correlations were observed between cytologic and histologic grades. Regression analysis identified dissociation, nucleoli, and nuclear margin as most influential. Cytologic grading can reliably predict histologic grade. © 2010 Wiley-Liss, Inc. © 2011 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
