Abstract

Three obturation techniques (lateral condensation, EQ Fil backfill, and Thermafil core carrier) were evaluated using 3D helical CT and volume rendering. Lateral condensation showed the most inadequacy, while Thermafil showed the least. Results provide insights on obturation technique effectiveness. © 2011 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
