Abstract

Methanolic extract of Samadera indica leaves was evaluated for toxicity and formulated into ointment and gel for topical antimicrobial activity. No toxicity observed up to 2000 mg/kg in mice. Formulated ointment showed higher antimicrobial activity against S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, and C. albicans than gel, demonstrating safe and effective topical formulations. © 2022 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
