Abstract
This study analyzed bacterial and clinical profiles of diabetic foot ulcers in 100 patients (Wagner′s grade I and above). 187 organisms were isolated, with Pseudomonas sp most common (21.9%) and MRSA in 66.7% of isolates. All aerobic Gram-negatives were sensitive to imipenem, Gram-positives to vancomycin, and anaerobes to metronidazole, clindamycin, cefoxitin, and penicillin G. © 2012 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
