Abstract

The Food Distribution & Management System (FDMS) was developed to improve implementation of the Public Distribution System (PDS) using biometric techniques. The system aims to reduce corruption, improve transparency, and eliminate intermediaries by enabling direct communication between government and beneficiaries. Web technology and cryptography provide a secure interface, ensuring efficient resource allocation. © 2012 ICST Institute for Computer Science, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering. © 2013 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
