Abstract

This paper presents design and optimization of fuel cell consumption using fuzzy logic controller with maximum power point tracking. The approach minimizes fuel consumption in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells under varying hydrogen concentration and fuel flow rates. A dc-dc converter processes the power, and fuzzy logic control is compared with conventional control, validated by simulation results. © 2012 IEEE. © 2013 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
