Abstract

This paper develops a multi-agent system for intelligent energy management in microgrids. The system supports maximum demand control and allocation of excess DER capacity to non-critical loads. The interaction and time delay between agent commands and device execution in MATLAB environment are studied. The approach aims for high accuracy, resilience, and intelligent decision-making. © 2012 IEEE. © 2013 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
