Abstract

A methodology for space vector modulation applied to unidirectional PWM rectifiers is presented. Switching stages are analyzed for three groups of rectifiers, with proposed switching sequences minimizing commutations and losses. Duty cycle functions are determined, and current sector control is achieved without sector detection. Simulation results validate the technique. © 2012 IEEE. © 2013 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
