Abstract

Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of PLA/PGA (Fisiograft®) with Open Flap Debridement (OFD) compared to OFD alone for intrabony defects over 9 months. Both groups showed significant improvement, but no statistically significant differences were observed between them except for recession depth, which was greater in controls. Radiographic parameters improved in both groups. Conclusion: Fisiograft® provided no additional benefit over OFD alone. © 2013 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
