Abstract

The cephalic index (C.I.), an anthropological metric for cranial phenotype, helps determine racial differences. This study assessed anthropometric indices among 305 medical students (142 males, 163 females) from southern India. Mean C.I. was 79.20 overall, 78.72 for males, and 79.68 for females. Mesocephalic phenotype (36.4%) was predominant. © 2020 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
