Abstract

This document explains the key concepts of cloud computing in multimedia and presents new techniques. We differentiate both the multimedia aware and cloud aware from each other. First of all we define what is multimedia aware - it is nothing but a centralized server that can share distributed multimedia processing, storing and provide high quality of services. To achieve a high quality for multimedia applications, we define Media Edge Cloud architecture, it has memory, processing unit and provide good quality. Next we introduce a new server based multimedia i.e. cloud multimedia which works like our normal multimedia aware where it has memory, information exchange, security, data sending and acknowledgment receiving which helps for better quality of experience. Last we explain about mobile multimedia device which implements and maintain the device in well manner its main issue is to monitor the different signals and give good quality of services to multimedia devices. © 2020 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
