A cross-sectional study on post-pandemic H1N1 vaccination among Indian university students (N=802) found low coverage (12.7%) and high non-compliance (74%), influenced by doubts about vaccine safety and effectiveness. Female students and Biosciences/Biotechnology students had higher vaccination rates. Study emphasizes need for clear vaccine information dissemination. © 2011 Suresh et al; BioMed Central Ltd. © 2011 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
