Abstract

This study evaluated Magnetic Resonance Urethrography (MRU) compared to Retrograde Urethrography (RUG) in male urethral stricture assessment. Thirty-two patients underwent both procedures, and findings were compared with intraoperative results. Both showed 100% sensitivity and specificity for stricture site detection. MRU better assessed bulbar strictures and spongiofibrosis, while RUG better evaluated longer strictures. Conclusion: MRU and RUG are equally effective, with complementary advantages. © 2018 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
