Abstract

The barrier for entry is becoming thin for new entrants in many industries. Almost all the inputs that make the organization to have dominance in an industry has been eroded by the competitors. In order to have a sustainable competitive advantage, the organization must concentrate on the human resources which is a least mimic asset in an organization. The organizational culture act as a support for the competitive advantage among the organization which when reviewed continuously and improvised can contribute to the sustainable success and provide a competitive edge. This study tries to understand the various constructs that are used to provide job satisfaction among the employees in an organization. The pay grade become least important factor when employees moves towards the cadre in an organization which would have a involvement of organizational culture. © 2020 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
