Abstract

This paper shows very reliable, extended range power supply for electric vehicle with PV panel with battery to overcome the battery oriented vehicle issues like rapid charging and discharging of battery rapidly. Better acceleration performance, controlled regenerative braking, longer driving range, longer battery life and smaller battery pack are the benefits of this model. This work tried to minimize the stresses on battery during acceleration and braking of permanent magnet brushless dc motor. Boost converters are used for the proper flow of power to motor during various stages of driving cycles with higher reduction of THD. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
