While it's evident that majority of the planet population lives within the cities, it's also imperative to spot how effectively the cities are equipped to serve the urban population. The Quality of Living is taken into account as a crucial constituent of sustainability of cities. Similarly the interrelatedness of the urban form to the effective functioning of the town has been widely deliberated in various studies and international summits. There are several indices which give an in depth evaluation of the standard of life. The virtuousness of the varied indices is deliberated in terms of its physical manifestation at the town and neighbourhood level. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
