A set of bi layer composites were fabricated by using lyocell fabric which is produced by an eco friendly process. Two different fiber architectures i.e., woven and knitted were used for reinforcing the composites. Dynamic mechanical properties such as storage modulus - E' and loss modulus - E'' were determined experimentally. Damping co efficient or loss factor -Tan d was calculated numerically. It was found that the interfacial adhesion was relatively good in the case of LWK composites in comparison to other composites. Fractured composite specimens, collected after conducting tensile tests were examined by using a Scanning Electron Microscope and it was observed that the resin has penetrated very well into the fabric. © 2023 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
