Abstract
This study assesses AI literacy and perceptions among 118 Master of Library Science (MLS) students in India. Using surveys, the research identified NLP as the most impactful AI technology for library services. Students showed optimism regarding AI benefits, with concerns about ethics and job displacement. The study emphasizes the importance of AI literacy training in LIS programs to prepare students for evolving library roles.
