Abstract

The proposed system is a remote streetlight monitoring and control system using PIC16F microcontroller. Streetlights automatically turn on when vehicles pass and switch off afterward, conserving electricity compared to traditional streetlamps. This system can be applied to schools, stations, roads, industries, and other locations requiring time-controlled lighting. © 2020 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
